According to F4WOnline.com and Wrestling Observer Radio, former WWE star Alberto Del Rio tested positive for elevated testosterone and also failed a steroid test resulting in his violation of the WWE Wellness Policy and subsequent 30 day suspension. Del Rio previously said in an interview with Mexican media that he violated the WWE Wellness Policy for being on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), which was approved by his doctor.
Meltzer also noted that TNA Wrestling very much wants to sign Del Rio, despite Del Rio claiming in the past that he currently does not want to sign with any promotions. It’s believed that TNA does not suspend or fine talents for failing drug tests.
