Del Rio was one of the most protected wrestlers in the company so he probably thought afterwards "I'm good".

This is how little racism I have -When I first read the incident and the guy said it was Del Rios job to clean off the plate I thought it was a fat joke because Del Rio had gained weight

Hell, he might not have meant it as a racial joke (I really doubt it, though...), but it still can't be tolerated. They still need to be checked, made to know the racial context of the joke and told that such garbage won't fly. It's about nothing more than showing proper respect.

I've done this with friends of mine (well, I haven't slapped them, but I came close at times). They need to be made to respect who you are, even if you're not pro-whatever like that (I'm certainly not pro-Black like that). Del Rio smacked the dude because he didn't have enough respect for him as a Mexican man to understand his point of view and show contrition (and even smiled in front of his face like an idiot...). And good on him for that, I say.

Yeah, it's kinda messed up and if it's that cut and dry (it's a high possibility that it isn't) Del Rio has a case against them, but I don't think he would care anyway. As for the employee, to me it's like you shouldn't have said some racist shyt then. Let them both go, at least.
