I really do approach these topics based upon my experience as a custodial mother. a non custodial step mother
and now a shared legal, custodial grandparent.

oow births and cs/ family courts are a big issue in our community. I want us all to get it together for the sake of our children.

The child support is for the kid, so the bulk of financial burden isn't on one parent. What don't you understand?

The child lives in both the mom's and dad's house. Why should the dad pay for both houses? How is that fair? What is the mom supposed to pay for then?

Yes there are. They could let other parents use their cards and take the cash, but I'm pretty sure that would be suspicious depending on the age and gender of the child/children. I think they get to see exactly what they're buying.

Food, Water, Shelter are literally the most BASIC needs of any human being. Kids need alot more than basic needs to learn and grow.

If you think that the parent that has the kid LIVE with them isn't coming out of pocket more that the other you fooling yourself.

I get where you are going, but you keep talking about fairness in a situation in which the foundation is fundamentally unfair. Regardless of WHO has custody.
