Were you hiding it or trying to be discreet about it?

For example, would you have casually mentioned “I was talking to (insert female name) and she said… ” and thought she would have been okay with it?

If not, you were dead wrong because you knew you shouldn’t have been doing it and you did it anyway. If so, and you legit thought it wasn’t a big deal, you could explain that to her and tell her you’ll completely cut off that type of communication now that you know how she feels about it. Buuuttt… she still has to believe you didn’t think it was wrong and it was innocent. If not… like dude said before
