i just dont know how to go about starting. i downloaded fruity loops but i couldnt figure out how to crack it (torrented it and it came with a crack? dont know what to do with that).

music is my biggest passion in life. its the only thing keeping me sane. i have a criminal record and find it almost impossible to find a job. im broke as hell. im sat here planning armed robberies

my local community college has music courses and recording studios for free. but i dont even have any lyrics or any idea what my sound is yet. im so confused on how to start.

can anybody give me any ideas what to do to get started? ive got a lot of shyt to say and stories to put on a record. music is the only consistent thing in my life.

i have a laptop, a notepad and pen. my local community college does music courses where they provide recording equipment for free.

and i dont want to be rapping over other peoples beats really. i want something that comes from me and my state of mind. i cant afford to pay for beats anyway.
