That's not a valid point tho because blacks who are caught murdering other blacks aren't protected by the system. If these cops were being prosecuted instead of protected, there wouldn't be an issue. You can actually attribute the high rate of black on black violence to the lack of value placed on black lives in this society. Nobody knows how undervalued black lives are in our society more than other blacks. Everybody knows that you get a lot more time for victimizing a white person than you do a black person. Somehow it never dawns on people that this is a major factor in who gets victimized.Asap c00nky?

I don't disagree with him entirely on more attention needing to be focused on Black on Black crime, because it is appalling. Ultimately, police presence in many Black communities is an effect, not a cause. The cause is arguable and complex as we're dealing with economics, poverty, systematic racism, feelings of despair and hopelessness, etc.. If a community can eliminate those problems, or at the least decrease some of those issues, then the need for a police presence decreases as well. I hate to say it, but, many Black communities have a bit of a conundrum on their hands. On one hand Black people resent a heavy handed police presence, on the other hand too many young Black men and teens are involved with dirt in one form or another. The reality is, these are our sons, brothers, cousins, friends, associates who are actively involved with behavior that warrants a police presence. To expect police or anyone for that matter to always act professionally is naive at best, ignorant about people in general at worst.
