Listening to a full album of just bars is just too tedious. I was listening to Only Built 4 Cuban Linx, and while I admire the lyricism, 18 tracks of strict rapping (with similar subject matter) isn't my cup of tea.
I prefer Illmatic. Not only is it just 10 tracks, but the tracks feel more soulful and the album is an easier listen.
