No mental and if some it’s barely there. Certainly not to the level of D9. It’s very relaxing, I wouldn’t say it makes you lazy just super focused and warm and tingly. I usually take D8 gummies every night. Really good stress reliever. You still feel in control but just much more relaxed and less anxious without the added paranoia
