Duncan Hunter, who is still running for reelection despite having been indicted by the FBI on 60 counts of wire fraud, falsifying records, campaign finance violations, and conspiracy, released an attack ad claiming that his opponent Ammar Campa-Najjar is an Islamic terrorist because his grandfather was a terrorist. Campa-Najjar is actually a Christian, his mom is from Mexico and he was born in San Diego and worked for the US Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and his Palestinian grandfather who was indeed part of a terrorist plot died 15 years before Campa-Najjar was even born.
Aaron Ford attacked by the Republican Attorney General Association for an arrest record for 20+ years ago. They fail to note when the crimes took place, fail to note that they had endorsed him four years earlier, and fail to note that the Republican candidate for governor who they currently support has his own DUI arrest from more recently than any of Ford's charges.
Anti-David Garcia ad juxtaposes White women and girls with scary immigrant images and suggests that White people won't be safe if Garcia is elected.
