See the thing about the bodega is that its not about the stuff you buy its about the interactions with the Pepe around you and the neighborhood and that can not be replicated. Also where else can people go and get a nice turkey sandwich for 3 bucks or an Italian cheese steak for 5 bucks. Where else can you chill with the bodega cat and stare at the Mani with the double d or get a quarterwater and some blunts. Some machine is just not going to replace that especially in a world that is becoming more and more digital.
