It makes sense, but it doesn't make sense because when it comes down to it for a dumbass shirt or some merch at a show you get 6 months of 60 dollar ppvs.

The Network SHOULD be a slam dunk all around, I honestly don't get it:yeshrug:
Pretty simple, actually. Casuals do not want or need that much wrestling. Raw and Smackdown alone provide FIVE hours of WWE every week. If you follow TNA thats another 2 hours of pro wrestling. Plus you can just go on youtube and see highlights of everything important, in a few minutes, for free. Nobody that needs more access than that can call themself a casual fan. Kids need their parents to sign up for em, and of course the parents are gonna immediately say "theres already 2 shows on every week, you dont need more than, go play a sport or something." Kid tells the parents its only 9.99 :krs:...until that website tells em 60 bucks :usure: Parent says ok then this counts as your Xmas present. Kid says :whoa: Id rather have that Cena gear and just watch Raw :yeshrug:

So the 700,000 sign-ups is mostly comprised of hardcore/longtime fans that are still left, that got it for all the old material, for which its a great value. And really there's probably over a million of them but lets not forget the portion that was turned off and scorned by anti-fan promos from Haitch and Cena, general WWE bullshyt like this Del Rio thing, and dudes that are basically like fukk the WWE, I can watch enough old matches on the internet for free.

Basically. You can't be out here saying that your product is family friendly and for kids but then wonder why your network isn't a huge success; you cater to a demo that has no spending power. Marley Marl said the same thing about WBLS getting better ratings than Hot 97 and Power 105 at the moment and it's because WBLS caters to an audience that spends money while Hot and Power cater to high school kids and middle school kids, who don't have the same earning power of someone in their late 20s to early 40s or above. The average 8 year old who's cheering for Cena or Mysterio doesn't care about what happened 20 years ago or 15 years ago and because they do all that they can to alienate their older fans and they clearly show a lack of regard for continuity with their story lines..:yeshrug: what you expect?

struggle news, struggle thread.
I don't even believe it - this is Because Trips did that 9.99 schtick on TV, Meltzer is interpreting that as him being mad and reporting it as news.

Meltzer has been doing this for like the last 2 years, and saying shyt like this is fact.

For another example, Daniel Bryan was pulled from the Summerslam advertising in like early July, so Meltzer "exclusively" reported that he "may" need more surgery.

Like I could start a wrestling news website too.

I don't trust the sheets at all, I think somebody within WWE is trolling them with misinformation .
