Yes. Lonzo, Zion, and Ingram weren’t even a play in team.
1. They got a whole another Allstar in Vucevic.
2. They play in the East.

Team is also pretty deep with Patrick Williams, Coby White and whatever they plan on doing with Markannen. This team on paper should absolutely make the playoffs.

Who are you comfortable putting them ahead of?

Take into account, when we say "make the playoffs" we are only talking about six teams, not eight anymore.

Brooklyn, Philly, Milwaukee, Boston, Atlanta, Miami, and New York, and possibly even Indiana are eight teams who all feel they should be locks for the top six as well.

Man, look... the Bulls have had talent over the last few seasons, but they had no direction at all and subpar PG play. This cannot be understated, a talented team adding a facilitating PG works wonders, just look at PHX this season. Also... Before Donovan got here, the Bulls had the worst coach in basketball
:mjlol:

The players that Hoiberg had before they fired him (even tho he started out that season with multiple starters injured) that Boylen took over were solid. And that's why you saw plenty of former Bulls players this postseason scattered around playoff teams contributing. Now with AK at the helm, they got a legit starting PG, and they added depth and solid vets while keeping their young core intact.

How many of those teams that you listed have a 3rd option who's a career 20ppg scorer on their roster?

All the bolded are better although I can see both Hawks and Miami being in the same tier during regular season but much better in playoffs. Outside of those 5 teams, they should be up there in contention for 5-7 seed. Boston and Knicks got the better top players but Bulls got the deeper team with 3 allstars, then you have Lonzo who has to take the next step and 3 young guys in Coby/Lauri/Patrick Williams all wanting to step up as well. This team should easily be better than Pacers, Hornets, Wizards etc because they simply have more talent overall. It would be a failure for them if they are not.

Just keep Lauri man.
Lauri played himself by not taking the extension, but now I don't think the Bulls really care if he's here or not anymore. AK traded for Vucevic thinking that he would be able to get Lonzo as well at the deadline for Lauri. I'd say the Bulls clearly did not intend on having both Vucevic and Lauri on this roster for too long.

It's looking like nobody wants to pay Lauri shyt after this abysmal season he had. He still has talent for sure, but flipping him for tougher front court defensive minded players is ideal for how this roster is constructed now.

If/when Lonzo injures his ankle again who else is going to play defense there? :hubie:

Scoring wise it all looks great on paper, if they gel properly, but they still need to get couple of good pieces for Lauri in order to have a proper team.
