Other teams around the league have dealt with injuries to their actual star players and weren’t as bad as Chicago after the All Star break. Let’s not sit here and try and make the argument now that role players are the difference between a team being a playoff team and a lottery one :mjlol:

Lonzo’s impact was real

the Bulls owned a top-10 defense when Ball entered the league’s health and safety protocols on Dec. 26, missing five games. They also forced the eighth-most turnovers to that point.

The Bulls finished with the 23rd-ranked defense and tied for 23rd in turnovers forced

They weren’t the same team without him he was hitting 42% from 3 on 7 attempts, bulls transition offense, defense, forced to’s fell off.Lonzo is the glue for this bulls team without a doubt. the Celtics without smart or warriors without draymond for 3 months wouldn’t be the same

Pat Williams missed 65 games, Lonzo missed 47 games & Caruso missed 41 games. Not to mention Zach playing more than half the season on a bum knee

And yet they are still in the playoffs :yeshrug:

I mean what did you really expect from them this season?

Honestly I went into the season with little expectations, but I expected playoffs at min. After seeing the team at full strength for first half of the season and the wins racking up, it certainly made me more optimistic. The Zo/Caruso injuries destroyed the defense but I think the most unreported aspect of the downturn has been how much Zach’s knee has hampered his play. He doesn’t look like the player from last season or the first half of this season at all right now

Hey Bulls fans, who are we to argue that injuries to our best perimeter defenders, they guy that keeps moving and pushes the break, and a nagging knee injury to Zach hurt the team :stopitslime:

We still had Vuc

There’s no way you can say more went right than wrong when from the starting lineup opening night:

Vuc played like shyt

Pat got hurt sixth game of the season, and came back three weeks ago losing a whole year of development

Zach has been dealing with a nagging knee since January

Zo hasn’t played since January 14th
