Very good player who has the potential to get even better. He's not a superstar but he can be the 2nd or 3rd best player on a playoff team.
He's at his peak now as a scorer and playmaker. Only thing now is maintaining this efficiency. The only way he has the potential to improve on where he's currently at, is developing a 3-pt shot - but that is unlikely to ever happen.

He is one of the best half court scorers in the league. Doesnt shoot a high percentage because he doesn't get a lot of transition looks.
That, lack of court vision (though greatly improved last few seasons) and inconsistent defense really holds him back from being a true star. But he is top 10 as far as one on one half court scorers go.

He's an allstar... Like most have said.

Has high athletic ability but doesn't use it that much.

Not as aggressive as he could and should be

Needs to be a more consistent 3 point shooter.

He will get max money but definitely needs to become more aggressive to do so.

He's 3rd in the league in FTA lol...some of yall hAvent watched him...if anything he's extra aggressive going to the rim cuz he can't shoot the 3...if he didn't try to get to the line he wouldn't be anywhere near a 22 PPG scorer...

Well excuse me nikka, they don't show a lot of Toronto games where I'm from. And the times I did see him play he seemed to defer to other nikkas like Lowry even though he's their best talent on the perimeter

Anyway, I just think he should be a more aggressive leader and he'll probably get more attention

One of the dumbest shot selections in the league. He's pretty much a more athletic nick young that gets to the line a lot more.

I've never seen him pass after he gets the ball with my own eyes.

dribble, crossover, pump fake, repeat 4 times, fade away midrange j

Jason Kidd was in the league for 10 years before he he became a good 3 point shooter :yeshrug:
The difference is, the 3-pt shot was always a part of Kidd's scoring arsenal. It wasn't as if he just suddenly took more threes a decade into his career. The same can't be said for DeRozan.

Kidd took a total of 1340 3-points attempts during his first six seasons (26.3% of his total shots were 3-pt attempts)
DeRozan took a total of 578 3-point attempts during his first six seasons (9.3% of his total shots were 3-pt attempts)
