Pretty much. I had the same visceral reaction as everybody else when PG got hurt but the reality is guys are gonna play and they are gonna get hurt.

Cousins walked of the court under his own power and the injury is not feared to be serious. DeMarcus Cousins (knee) will have an MRI on his right knee after crashing to the floor during team USA practice on Thursday.
Director of team USA basketball Jerry Colangelo called the MRI "precautionary" and Cousins is unlikely to play for the rest of the week, including the team's exhibition game against Brazil. He was already on the roster bubble with team USA, and missing practice time may further hurt his chances of making the team. More importantly, if this injury proves to be more serious than initially thought, the Sacramento Kings and other teams around the league will continue to voice their displeasure with star players risking injury for international competitions.
