By making outlandish statements like "I never will respect Charles Barkley", as if Barkley is some sort of maggot unworthy of respect when in fact he is a legend and a sir. He could've said no to the interviewer if he doesn't like or trust them anyway. But then, we already know that's not really the case. He just only likes them when they're working to further the image he wants for himself.

He doesn't have to do interviews with Charles Barkley or even talk with Charles Barkley....and the NBA needs more characters and people left of the norm
the only thing that can't happen is the entire league can't start shunning media...at the end of the day the same media they don't like are the same people putting them on that pedestal in front of millions of people and making them millionaires
with no media coverage sports would not be a viable career option...they would not be millionaires without the help of the same media they don't like
it's a give and take...is it really that hard to give an interview every now and then...and who cares what the media ultimately says...in the end it's an arrangement that's been extremely profitable.

I like Cousins and i agree with him on the media being two faced but his issue with barkley borders on corny for me...I agree his thing he said a few years ago was wrong about him being the worst thing for SAC but his commentd about him in HS are fine,he was immature and i think as he gets older,he'll realize Barkley didnt mean all of that necessarily to be on his ass...Charles is speaking on a level of understanding cuz he was the same type of player with maturity issues...
