I get that, but would you rather roll the dice with some picks that could wind up around 8-11 or a sure shot at Okafor? I'm not sure I'd trust this current Kings FO in that situation.
I don't see why anyone would trade Okafor for Cousins though, they're basically the same guy in regards to their games.
If the Lakers got Okafor, I think they'd just keep him.
I agree with that but some guys don't pan out and there are questions about Okafor's defense, which Cousins answered while Malone was coaching. We know Cousins can put up 24/12 right now and he's only 24.
I'll admit I haven't watched much of Okafor this year, but does he have a mean/nasty streak like Cousins has?
Cousins had those same questions about his defense before he was drafted, they're virtually the same exact size, only thing really separating them is Cousins has a 2-3" standing reach advantage, outside of that they are damn near clones of each other physically.
Okafor doesn't have a mean streak, but he clearly has a competitive "You can't fukk with me" side to him. Okafor projects out to being Cousins but without the shyt like the video above....I wouldn't trade Okafor for Cousins.

I get what you saying about him being compared to Cousins which I agree on, but with rookies you just never know what you are getting. We know for a fact Demarcus is arguably the best center in the NBA ( i think if Mike Malone was here, he would be hands down the best).
i do think OAKFOR will be a great player in the league.
