He reminds me a lot of Sheed. All the talent in the world. Just get him to an environment where a coach and teammates can control him (how Larry Brown, Chauncey and Ben Wallace did with Sheed) and we could see him flourish for years

He needs to go to a team that has a winning culture, has strong veterans, and has a coach that will not back down to him.

Would seem to fit that criteria, no? :ehh:

I do think the Celtics are one of the teams that would be willing to pull the trigger on a Cousins deal. Danny Ainge has never been afraid of players like Cousins. They do have assets too: Jared Sullinger, Fab Melo, Avery Bradley are all players the Kings would have interest in. However, if the Kings do that deal, they take another step backward. Not sure if there's room anymore for the Kings to keep going backward. Pistons, Mavs and Heat are other teams with a lot of interest.

:rudy: If Sheed had flourished the Pistons would've won like 4 or 5 titles in a row last decade. The nikka was up and down like a mothafukka and despite being 7 foot with a killer post game the nikka attempted more 3s than FTs every year with Detroit and never had a 10 rpg season his whole career. Trust me you dont' want Cousins to turn into that. :heh:

Cousins won't go to Boston and act a fool around Doc, Pierce, Rondo, and KG.

Even Rondo acts a fool around Doc, Pierce, and KG.

There's more of a structure in Boston, but Demarcus Cousins would be just another guy there. They wouldn't expect shyt from him. Maybe he'd wind up being a better person (only he can want that at the end of the day) but going to Boston means he'll be taking a step back as a player too. The team simply won't ask the same of him as they would other players, at least for the next 2-3 years.

nikka had all the tools that Tim Duncan had and was more athletic and had more range. :snoop: When that nikka put his mind to posting up and defending the post. :wow: It's sad he didn't see the need to do either consistently.
