I hope Black Americans get theirs but this seems too good to be true.

I would no doubt in my mind believe President Trump will do something with ADOS just to say he was the first to help us, for real. He's narcissistic, so he does things just to make himself look like he is the best. He just showed us he does what he wants with this National emergency. I called it years ago that racists will use immigration as their "come together". i was laughed at for it, and I ended up being right! As I’ve noted before, I don’t have a really strong position on immigration reform. As the child of immigrants who came here the legit way, I’m troubled by giving a pass of any sort to people who “cut” in line, but I also know it’s kind of dumb to think we’re going to deport all of those people.

I do think its interesting that so much of the Republican elite really doesn’t care what their grassroots think and instead are more interested in giving big industries the cheap labor they want. It’s another version of their abortion and gay marriage strategies where they talk a good game up until election day then forget it all after that.

But why does the Republican base act with so much revulsion at any sort of immigration deal short of closing America?

WHAT?! I've BEEN a part of groups that groomed candidates that ran actually ran against each other for schoolboard-- one of which won, and another currently for city council. The strategy on schoolboard was to split the vote even more from the candidates in contention and advance the agenda that was affirmed with BOTH (who are good friends) among others behind closed doors. Been a part of meetings and received advice and wisdom from the elders of my jurisdiction and everything, they already went thru the ringer and know what it is. None of that is on a national level but it's still groomed candidates. And I'm more than willing to argue that a group of local politicians is more impactful than hedging our bets on ONE national figure. If anything an upspring of local candidates would make way for people on the national scale... I swear, ya'll have a belief/opinion, and that's a start so I'm not knocking it, but it's clear as day you've never been in the shyts. But you still can. And trust me you will learn a ton I fell back and need to get back in it. I don't know much either

Let's be honest.

No non-ADOS person of color really want to know what it would be like if ADOS got power without them because a lot of things in this country will change.

Every non-ADOS POC is gonna run to the White liberals and White leftists.

"You can't side with them, look at how racist they are."

"They want to stop immigration and deport us."

"They are extremists."

"They are homophobic."

ADOs are still slaves. A slave of a certain politic. A slave of a certain worldview. Slave to the idea that ADOS cannot have their own interests, their own politic and their own worldview and we must conform to liberals, non-ADOS POC and leftists or we are invalid.

People still want us to hold on to some bullshyt revolution and Pan-Africanism and Pan-POC that never came.

Everybody had since 1865 to clique up. We should not wait. We are taking control now. We the captain now. Everybody better do what we say or else.

It's time for other POC to grow up and stand on their own. It's time for White liberals and leftists to grow up and stand on their own. Time for Americans as a whole to give up something for once, instead of telling us what to do, and what to say and what to think.
