What does civil rights era desperation for solidarity with the Palestinians of the 1960s/70s and their marxist leanings have to do with islamist factions of Hamas and Hezbollah in 2025?
These Arab nations and their islamist sub-states are ruining Africa and thats more relevant to my interests and concerns. I’d like to see the same energy for those issues.

Hamas gambled and lost. I want Israel to stop abusing the innocent and I want the Palestinians to take deals that promote their survival. They’re not the first, last, or even largest displaced group and its time the world start being honest with these selfish regional actors.

You struggle to see the through line between the arguments for solidarity with the Palestinian cause that were promulgated by the black icons of the Civil Rights era and the arguments for solidarity with the Palestinian cause being promulgated today because you are historically and politically illiterate. When you encounter the words of Malcolm X or Kwame Ture or James Baldwin your eyes just glaze over because you don't have the prerequisite knowledge base. You don't understand the political concepts at play here, and you're out of your depth because you haven't done the reading. I don't say this to insult you, it's just a statement of fact. You are completely servile to the White Supremacist ideology of American foreign policy and have traded in your pride for crumbs from your master's table. You are completely alienated from the tradition of black political thought because you have no racial political consciousness. So of course you're never going to understand why the Civil Rights era political thinkers with their "Marxist leanings" expressed solidarity for Palestinians.

there is already a big article about how witht he way people are moving and leaving mostly Dem states to move to Red States - even if Kamala won the blue Wall PA and the states she did win she would still LOSE because the electoral votes ( based on population ) would be so against her.
Dems and "progressives" need to really sit their asses down and pay attention to what people are saying - theyve been saying it - you arent representing anything that has a broad appeal other than from those that are the most devoted to your positions.....
the indicator is something like Congestion Pricing in NY - the population of the entire state in the majority is against it but the Dem administration insists on levying a toll that for the richest area of the city to appeal to a niche group of ( mostly white) ideologues .....and then when they are given an out by something like Trump instead of taking it - they insist on holding on to it( to deny him a victory that in the aggregate he is going to get any way ) ....to get no doubt slaughtered at the poll in the upcoming election cycle when its pointed out how in a time of ever rising COL the Dems supported adding an additional $2000 expense onto people who drive into the city .....JUST to pass through....
Dems have a rep for being Tax and Spend - and they fall into that shyt with amateur moves like what i listed above....
Dems / Progressives keep fighting a battle they want to have about shyt that isnt the actual REAL battle and stakes...
