What bothers me more than the original misrepresentation is how easily people fall for - or knowingly amplify - this kind of manipulation just to push a narrative. The account he's engaging with is vile, and the one they're tagging is just as bad. They're blatantly attributing someone else's words to that actress, and far too many people either don't care or are happy to ignore the truth if it suits their agenda.

What frustrates me is this constant impulse from some Democrats to appease bad-faith actors on the right, as if carefully distancing yourself from their latest misrepresentation will somehow earn their respect.
