i think that the government guaranteeing to make student loans, utterly destroyed any incentive colleges had to keep costs down/competitive. they don't care; they're getting paid up front regardless

so i have little respect for democrats who demand that we forgive student loans, while refusing to call out the cost of college. it's not a serious position. but then again, it's the same exact mindset they have when it comes to government bureaucracy we can never cut it, we can never hold it accountable, just keep sucking money from taxpayers to pay for it. illinois is a good example
