They use to be attainable when they identified as neoliberal republicans because like neoliberal democrats their primary goal was consumption. You realize he lost in 2020 and won in 2024 with basically the same amount of voters. He’s always been a moderate Republican. He just hates Trump, and even as a moderate republican his views have skewered right because the Overton window has been dragged to the fringe right at this point.

I have never heard him once say something I would consider liberal or progressive. Other than the fact he recognizes Trump is a crook. Which to his credit most of his peers refuse to do.
