the problem with the democrats right now is exactly what you're illustrating. zero to 100 on a disagreement - internally - without any framework of how to get to moving forward. that leads to highlighting and propping up external easy, short sighted figurehead solutions and novelty leadership instead of repair

after over a year, and even dapping me up in unrelated shyt, its almost jarring how there's no actual effort to reframe a dialogue.

we have no one for 2028 worth talking about currently. and the way the party functions now - no one can organically emerge. worse, there's been the threat of a rug pull with objective evidence of happening for over a decade so the people who would step up don't even want to risk it lol...

the rock is only entertaining this stuff because he's seen how much money you can make as a fundraiser - and even then he'd make more money as a republican or 'convenient independent' if managed right

This is what these centrist Libs fail to understand when they keep bleating their demands to know which candidate we are going to support in 2028 (it's fukkin 8 months into Trump's term) because they're completely bought into the notion of politics as an entertainment spectacle. Actual progressives are going to support whichever candidate most credibly runs on the progressive policy agenda. We obviously don't know who that will be at the moment because IT'S 3 YEARS AWAY FROM ELECTION SEASON.
