Means nothing if hes going to vote against democrats agenda.
Manchin voted with Dems, and for Biden judges, like 80% of the time. also, given the amount of post covid inflation; he wasn't entirely wrong about the spending being too much, either.

Jim Justice will vote against Dems, and against Dem judges, 100% of the time

low-energy logic, indeed

old ass Janet Mills is not going to do a damn thing in the Senate to reverse the fortunes of the Democrats or change the current losing gameplan or appeal to any new demographics or voters
who gives a fukk? her floor is being better than susan collins. it's a swing state currently represented by a republican :dahell: no one is claiming Mills will revolutionize American politics

and which of your progressive heroes has done any of this shyt? :laff: Bernie "The Post Office Terror" Sanders?

actually, they don't. you just wouldn't know that, because you don't read or follow anything but left wing sources
They vote on major legislation 99% of the time. They each take turn being the good cop/ bad cop. End of day everything they run on that can get passed vets passed.

Republicans don't have any major legislation besides cutting taxes. Progressives demand major legislation with tangible action that costs a shytload of money. it's not really an accurate comparison

and given the obscene amount of money spent in 2020 and 2021, manchin had a point. it fukked up the country so badly that most americans under 35 aren't even realistically looking at buying a house anymore

Endorsed a disgraced sexual predator who lost his election and is running as a independent:dead:

I agree with nap this party needs to get smaller
is Mamdani not an open socialist, with a thin resume? what part of that statement is incorrect?

progressives can run and tout whoever they want, but you can't force people into supporting these candidates. you're unable to grasp why moderates have far less motivation to support progressives

if Dems nominated Mamdani against Vance in 2028, Mamdani would get his fukking ass kicked. that's the reality of the situation

It has always been expected of progressives to endorse candidates they do not agree with 99%, im glad this has now changed

let me break this down for you again. and i don't really care if you can wrap your head around it or not, but it's just the way it is

let's pretend an election looks like AOC vs Elissa Slotkin in the primary, and JD Vance on the right

if Slotkin wins the primary, AOC supporters should obviously show up and vote for Slotkin, since they agree with Vance on 0% of issues. they have nowhere to go, but to their right. "muh Slotkin isn't far left enough" shouldn't matter, when the other choice is JD Vance

if AOC wins the primary, Slotkin voters are a lot more indifferent. they agree with Vance maybe 30% of the time, and don't really care if he wins. they can live with him being in power

this is the fallacy of putting progressive lunatics forth in general elections. they simply will not get it done :yeshrug:

and if progressives want to stay home, and let Vance win? that's just fine. Slotkin types can live with it, while you're the ones screaming about Vance, because you can't :dead:

Ngl I stopped reading here because I don't agree with slotkin on a damn thing. If the expectation is that this is a big tent party politicians on the center left should be supporting progressives and progressives should be supporting them. This isn't a negotiable issue
