100%... One of the issues with Trump's 'method' is that, I think, it gets abrasive over time (aka has an expiration date)... If the republicans want to resonate with the average voter, they need to learn how to have deep empathy for the actual issues of the average citizen regardless of whether the logic of the voters 'makes sense to them'. This is something Zohran and the democrats historically do well and project to voters.

The harsh reality forward messaging from the right doesn't appeal to that sadly.

We need candidates on the right who are softer than the harsh ones we have now. Gloom and doom doesn't sell. Chrisma is everything. These folks today are fickle.
Get attractive charismatic people who stand middle except boys in girls sport and closed borders, highlighting how they can make life more affordable for all.
Seriously, folks, I'm just an old lady in Seattle and can see this clearly.

We can start with Trump himself not taking every opportunity to call his opponents names or demean their personal appearance on Truth Social.
It is both true that the media inflames fear, and that Trump provides ample kindling.

When I was young and trying to figure out politics, I could see that the Democrats were full of empty promises and the Republicans did not seem to care enough to respectfully share their perspective with others. They just dismissed and ignored everybody. I could see then where we were headed and it’s quite chilling to be here now.

Healthy families and Christianity is what frightens them and the only remedy for that, is laying down principles, which is not an option.

I have this fear that our presidential choice in the near future will be Mamdani vs Fuentes.
