Yes, he's a deeply incurious and selfish person, but every single time he engages in this topic he just word-for-word parrots Israeli propaganda because he has common cause with their white supremacy. His glazing of Israel and repeating of their fundamentally anti-Arab racism isn't coming from a deep commitment to Zionist ideology, it's driven by home-grown, post-9/11 white supremacist hatred of Arabs and Muslims. He's a Zionist wet dream; an American unthinkingly committed to the bigotry that fuels the Zionist project.
From what I've seen (i could be wrong), his support for Israel is new though, I dont remember him being pro Israel before 2023.
In fact, I remember him (derisively) calling Chuck Schumer the Senator from Israel at some point.

His recent pro-Israel glazing and perspective isn't informed by a love for Jews, it's due to his hatred of Arabs and Muslims. The Israelis have been making common cause with the traditionally antisemitic right-wing in the West with the idea that their latent antisemitism would take second place to their more active Islamophobia, and positioning themselves as the West's last wall against these savage, barbaric Islamic horde. Cac Mamba has fallen for this hook, line and sinker, which is why he keeps parroting their hasbara. The Israelis used October 7th as a red cape to wave in front of these right-wing bigots faces and activate their racist neurons, and Cac Mamba unthinkingly charged ahead just like the unthinking bigot they hoped he would be. He's still an antisemite, he just hates Arabs and Muslims more because they're not white.
