The effective way for Democrats to deal with Trump's Presidency is not to turn back in to "The Resistance", but to assess the Admin's actions based on efficacy.

Do I think he is in any way qualified to be HHS Secretary? Absolutely not.

But does that mean he is wrong about everything? No. I agree with him on aspects about the American health system and American nutrition just like I agreed with Marianne Williamson (I agree with her a lot more than he) on some of those topics.

If Dems want to retain credibility in their criticisms of the admin, they need to consider these issues on a topic by topic basis.

Just allow that Progressive Party to live as a submarine with their own voters. And on major elections, build an alliance with it around matters that both agree on.

That would allow the Democrats to actually run as pure centrists rather than trying to be appeal to progressives that they can't really reach.
