2028 may be too soon for her. And what's the point? She's going to be running against the field now. What is she bringing to the table? Can she form a likeable personality and strong opinion on issues that matter to her without looking like a dolt? What is she willing to stick her neck out for? America shoved abortion down her throat, running on that will get her laughed out the room in 3 years.

I think California governorship is a safer bet. That's a race that'll be won in the primary, so form a good platform around housing, homelessness, regulations and cost of living, and ring Liz Warren for some good ideas. Her national notoriety may pull her over the line.

Kamala just needs to get a private sector job and cash out. Politics aint for her. Respectfully. She needs to just beach-life-it.

Exactly. What's the appeal for a mid version of the Republican party if the real version is right there as an alternative?

Dumb ass centrists man

It's issue dependent. The Dem's position on immigration and transgenderism are not popular with the broader electorate

Progressives ignoring the dog whistles Bernie and the rest of these far left cacs are using is hilarious.

Working class = racist cac in Alabama

Identity politics = we don’t want that black woman running things

Bad messaging = We didn’t pander to racist white ppl, racist Latinos, and Muslims who think Kamala somehow can magically override congress, the president and another countries government n stop a conflict that’s been going on for CENTURIES.

:dead:
That’s not my feeling. Trying to read between the lines it’s all the LGBT and “women in front” talk they’re speaking on. Black people for damn sure weren’t the priority the last 4 years. The DEI talk wasn’t even real policy just a Republican boogieman.

Haven't watched the video. It's not that tent is too big. There are too many inside the tent that won't vote if it's not their ideal candidate. That won't vote if they don't get everything that was promised in a single cycle. If one or more of their issues aren't adequately addressed etc. The Right doesn't have that problem. They seemingly understand the long game. Mothefukkers voted for 50 years consistently to get to where we are now. A potential 7-2 supreme court, conservatives across all the lower benches. Overturning Roe v Wade. Destroying Affirmative Action. You name it, they kept voting and this most recent election cycle might be their masterpiece. But, the simple fact is they never stop voting no matter what.

I wouldn't mind Kamala giving it another shot against some competition in the primary. But the lasting thought I have of her is leaving all those students and her supporters hanging the night of the election.

It would be one thing if she finished close in a primary. And made another run in the future. She's cooked as as presidential candidate no matter where you land with her. She'd need like 2 or 3 cycles to rehabilitate this loss and she will be in her late 70s at that point. Governor or return to the Senate is possible, but even though the VP is just a mostly glorified post. It's hard to see her being able to back to one of those other roles. I know it's happened with I feel like Taft being a former president and then becoming a Scotus judge later. That was over 100 years ago.

If she won the moderate vote by that big of a Margin as the screenshot suggests 56-43. Then the Dem base is fukked cause that means even more of them stayed home then expected. Which too my earlier point, why do Dems court right of center people, cause left of center people can't be counted on to consistently vote.
