It's been a political issue. Obama's deportation numbers were higher too.
So much so that he was heckled as the "Deporter-in-chief" by several outlets.The narrative that Democrats are for "open borders" and mass illegal immigration has never been true, and it's unhelpful for non-Republicans to perpetuate it.

I have two minds about this. Glaude is someone I find personally unimpressive…BUT…white leftists like this ignore the racism of the “working class” and prove Claude’s point…but also, Claude’s pontificating doesn’t move me because he fails to make a more compelling resonant argument and ends up creating content for the right-wing outrage cycle...

You know why the white guy is mad so why come out against it. He's right and so are you about Glaude. He needs to be talking to black consultants anyway and asking them why they keep failing.
