As I said right after the election: poor and stupid whites, uneducated people and racist whites won Trump the election. An obese white woman who can barely fit in a chair, a poor white car mechanic, and a poor white chef making McDonald’s money talking about Kamala Harris was talking over their head :pachaha: Of course she was, because you can barely read or write :bryan:

They said Trump had a clear message about the economy, but the reporter didn’t press them and ask them what it was :wow: I wish I could hear the nonsense they would’ve came up with

The United States has a race and intelligence problem, it’s clear as day.
Some of these people are flat out stupid, republicans framing got a dude talking about dems being more concerned with "dei than kitchen table issues". :laff: republicans are goat, they give tax breaks to the rich cut Healthcare and dems can't even frame

That’s where you have it wrong. All I see is a bunch of economically anxious souls who, if only appeals were made to their economic pain, would have clearly banded together and voted for Kamala Harris. However the lady that actually worked at McDonalds and is the epitome of the American dream by going from that to the White House just didn’t relate to them like a convicted racist millionaire sexual predator

This reflects so much of what I was saying about the defund the police moment. Arguing statistics doesn’t matter. People FEEL unsafe, so you must address that.

This is the same problem NYC had when there was a crime spike and advocates and activists were “gaslighting” people by saying the stats said otherwise or some other rambling bullshyt. Democrats have to get beyond intellectualizing this shyt. It’s core governance.

On some level, I agree with you. I've always thought that Republicans are better politicians than Dems but generally, the vice versa is true. Repubs are good politicians, and bad at governance, while Dems are good at governance (generally) but bad at politics. Again, these are all generalities, you might have an exception like a Bill Clinton who happens to be a talented politician.

But what have Republicans done since the Nixon era to show that they give a crap about the working class? How could Trump possibly have won the working class (I think people who make under $50K per year) and we don't give that group of workers a side eye?

Since Reagan, Republicans all do the same thing when they get in to office. They cut taxes for the rich, increase military spending, and either do, or try to do this, at the expense of working class voters. How stupid can those group of voters be when they saw Trump again cut taxes for the rich in his first presidency while trying to cut their healthcare?

Dems need to figure out why this keeps happening:

Did you watch the video? Are you in agreement with the individual that the DC police are not a good source for crime data in the city?
Have you been watching the news in DC? Theres a scandal from the police chief and police union saying high level officials were cooking the books. I’m not making this up.

Republicans are actually also incredibly good at governance. In terms of their respective desired outcomes, they've been running circles around the Democrats. In this modern political era, they always seem to be able to find the ability to jam through tax cuts and spending cuts and money for war and corporate interests. They set the governance tone and Democrats just try to find space within it. And the fact that they've been doing this without having the popular will of the people on their side makes their governing performance even more dominant. We live in a Republican dominated government structure, which is why this society is going to hell. Trump got into office and immediately started to make bad shyt happen. Democrats get into office and immediately start putting out reasons why they're powerless to do anything good.

Trump is effective because he doesn't care about the law or constitution, that doesn't mean he is good at governance, that just means he doesn't care about American principles.

Democrats are elite school intellectuals, the average American no longer respects that class
