This may be the weakest that the minority party has looked in my lifetime. We understand their position and where they stand in regards to votes, but even from a informational standpoint they're both outlander and pretty much irrelevant when it comes to national politics. You'd think republicans have a super majority the way schumer and jefferies operate

Even 2017-19 with Pelosi leading the minority in the House and Schumer leading the minority in the Senate had more opposition. The Republicans in Congress were different of course but still.

Someone from the establishment wing of their party saying it with their chest. Wonder if this gains steam.

Congrats to Mr. And Mrs. Booker to be. Looks like he’s back in the running for 2028

Let the rebuild continue.

Rosario Dawson made an impression on him.

the wing of the party that you’re apart of refused to vote for Dems in 2024 over Gaza now you’re complaining about Dems being weak. Great point @Pressure

Trump respected the institutions a lot more back then probably because of the RINOs surrounding him, also the mainstream media hadn’t completed capitulated yet.

It’s two completely different eras. The judicial is the only branch that can check him now

Being hell bent on punishing Biden/harris

Look at these poor punished souls :mjcry:

seems to not only have failed spectacularly but also left the disenfranchised people they are supposed to be defending completely vulnerable to the whims of our new fascist MAGA regime. So you not only didn’t punish your intended targets you ended up hurting the people you said you were fighting for.

Someone once said some people don’t want power, they just want to critique power.

Maybe next time (if we get a next time) smarter decisions will be made.

I don't see how anyone could argue this is a weaker point than republicans in 2009. And we all know what happened the following year so let's be real. The perceived weakness of a party is irrelevant. They almost always benefit from voter backlash in the first midterm. And given that even the most moderate backlash would result in dems winning the House I see no reason why people are handwringing over shyt. Normal people do not give a shyt about any of this. Last year made it pretty clear the dominant issue is pricing/inflation.

Polling data have came out that stated that people who identify as to the left voted for dems the most in 2020 2024. This is flat out inaccurate . Its people to the right like you who voted for trump
