He came in and backed him last minute in late October. Now help me understand why that's so incredibly relevant to anything other than justifying your grievance with the party?
this isnt a serious statement.

The leader of the House Dems, a congressman from NYC, did not want to endorse the city's Dem mayoral nominee.

Again, where in your search has Jeffries said something as complimentary for Mamdani as he did about that unhinged wombat from Georgia? Again, you shytted on @Loose algorithim.

This man comes on here every day to applaud every middle-of-the-road move the Dems do and gets pissy when someone questions it.

Did he ultimately endorse him? Do YOU know why he didn't endorse him sooner? Do you believe he has a choice but to endorse him?

You come on here every day to complain about absolutely meaningless things...you engaged me, so I'd say you're the one pissy.

He's right, but this is the same critique I and others have of the Dems, and many of you have dismissed it.

The Dems are not the left. America hasn't had a serious left movement since MLK was murdered, and some would it wasn't class-based since post WW1.
I don't think the Mayor of NYC matters that much. I think you cannot sit here and complain that people hate dems, or that people complain about dems not fighting, when you don't endorse people because of donors and cave to the orange guys demands the get the government open.

Hakeem has been so so. The Mandani isn't even about Jews, its about all the old school types who don't want a muslim mayor.

Is this an outlet for these guys? Are they like this off of this website with people in real life? This nikka is a miserable POS. We at the point where the word “crushing” is a glowing compliment :dead: what single word should we replace it with, or better yet what Twitter handle should we replace it with to make it acceptable :mjlol: because that’s really thing that matters to these nikkas

for sure, a last minute endorsement that was boiler plate. Jeffries then decided to undermine that endorsement right before the election:

And yes, I come on here every day complaining about the meaningless things like the poor economy, shytty healthcare system, rising price of food, my health insurance going up, seeing more police violence, a genocide using our tax dollars, among other and the party that is supposed to have my interest in mind not giving a signle fukk about except to appease feeble minded people who think we should be happy that we are being pissed on and told its rain.

He’s one of the most senior leaders of the Democratic Party—of course he had a choice. What kind of silly ass argument is this? Your claim is literally: “Hakeem is powerless; he had to kiss the feet of donors, and that’s why the top representative of this country couldn’t endorse a Democrat from his own city.” what a pathetic defense of Hakeem:dead:, imagine running interference for someone as you say beholden to donors.

That's really the most shocking thing to me...that isn't a compliment. But both of these guys found something they could leverage in order to justify their frequent complaining and disdain for the Democratic party.

And the fact that they lack the self awareness to see that is crazy.

Since this endorsement was such a major factor, please enlighten us on why Jeffries did not give glowing endorsements to Aftab Pureval, Mary Sheffield, or how about one close to home Sharon Owens?

All successfully elected Democratic mayors.

More evidence of the selective outrage - Mamdami and Jeffries could hate each others guts but its politically advantageous for them to work together. The same Jeffries that you all want to primary for lack of leadership, is the same unpopular Jeffries you all feel so vehemently should have endorsed Mamdami sooner as a show of what, good faith?

Let's do this slowly.

Hakeem Jeffries represents a district in what city? What city was Zohran Mamdani running for mayor of? Are they both registered members of the same political party? That party begins with "D"

there is a reason why no one was criticizing Nancy Pelosi, Jim Clyburn or even Kamala Harris for not endorsing Zohran. (not even sure Clyburn or Pelosi spoke him, tbh. Harris got gave a tepid endorsement of Zohran before Jeffries did. :dead:)

You are spiraling out to defend Hakeem Jeffries.

EXACTLY!

So can you now answer my original question, now that you've "slowed it down"....What has this done positively or negatively for Democratic politics at a national level or a local level? Mamdani did just fine WITHOUT Jeffries' endorsement.

It's literally shown that the Dems are not aligned and the party's elite and mainstream favor donors and Israel over people in their own candidates, so it's been a big negative when it did not have to be.

You can pretend this isn't an issue because you tend to agree with whatever the establishment of the party says, but this has been a bad look for the party.

He could have endorsed him in his very first campaign video and it

-wouldn’t have made a difference in the outcome (and knowing these nikkas they would have side eyed Zohran for being endorsed by him in the first place since they hate Hakeem)
-wouldn’t have changed their opinion of Hakeem

Regardless he wants the dem party overthrown and a proletariat revolution anyway so Hakeem waiting til the last minute just pissed off some people like him and motivated them to pursue his end goal anyway so again why the fukk is he complaining. All this did is lead to a primary challenge and the vibe of the electorate being pushed towards his ultimate goal anyway :dead:

This was already the state of the party so what are we talking about? At the very least, YOU already had this opinion of the party. Yet you're acting as if an endorsement of Jeffries of all people was going to be symbolic of a shift.

Like I said prior, they have no choice but to work together until they don't your fake outrage at Jeffries corny attempt at instigating is still a weird hill to die on.
