what the fukk is this slop? this reads like Chat GPT from albania :laff:
I know your brain is severely damaged from decades of substance abuse to the point you are barely literate, but it is only a search away to see the HL centrists arguing that the American public are irredeemably stupid and giving up on the concept of democracy itself because Trump beat Harris in both the electoral college and the popular vote. But you were probably doing another well-deserved bid in the bushes during this period.

The voting public didn't say that Kamala was too into universal healthcare or childcare or taxing billionaires, because she chose not to run on any of those policies.
billionaires can't pay for that shyt, as we see from the huge tax burden on the middle class in canada. if you actually lived in america, instead of dikkriding our politics from the former soviet union, you might understand the public's aversion to these things

Kamala Harris and Hillary Clinton both refused to run on any transformative policy ideas, so their branding gap was filled with their identity (with slightly varying degrees of complicity) and the politics surrounding it. If Harris ran a disciplined campaign around a single policy concept or idea like Mamdani just did, it would have been much harder to tag her with whatever hodgepodge of "left wing" (what you really mean is radical identity politics which is a neoliberal invention to avoid class politics) ideas.

The voting public didn't say that Kamala was too into universal healthcare or childcare or taxing billionaires, because she chose not to run on any of those policies. They said she didn't stand for anything relevant to their lives. The right was able to brand her as only standing for giving trans people sex-reassignment surgeries (which they erroneously label as a major left wing policy idea with the complicity of Moderate Dems) because she didn't give us anything else to counter with. Harris ran a centrist campaign, no matter how much y'all want to rewrite history in the wake of your massive L.
I’m not rewriting history, you are with all due respect. There isn’t some grand arbiter that can accurately assess why a candidate lost, only the voting public can do that because we live in a democracy.

Kamala was branded as too radical, too liberal, too far left. She wasn’t seen as a centrist by the median voter, Joe Biden was however in 2020 and that’s one do the main reasons why he won.

Most of your conjecture comes from the realm of fantasy because when the rubber meets the road, lefties can’t win outside of areas democrats would win anyway.

Until yall can prove to us yall can actually expand the party’s power base the attacks from the left flank does more harm than good.

This shyt is so bizarre. Is Trump trolling or he just respects anyone with aura?
he's perpetually in game show host, time share salesman mode

anything he's remotely connected to, any appearance he's part of, he has to self-aggrandize. talk about how big, beautiful, and wonderful everything is

I think Dems are in a unique perspective where prior leadership held on too long, but people like Jeffries are clearly unserious people.

I wonder if house leaders have to be 'big tent' in a way that consciously/unconsciously enables moderates at the cost of real progress.

I want someone like Warren/AOC whipping votes and speaking for the party more often, but also question whether that dulls their impact when they would stand to the left of everyone and try to shift the overton window that way.

let me break this down, and it's not complicated

80% of the country either identifies as republicans, or moderate democrats. 20% of the country identifies as progressives. if it's the far left vs everyone else, the left loses soundly, when it comes down to it

if progressives refuse to drop the weird, unpopular bullshyt that makes them unviable in national politics, they will never gain any traction

yes, universal childcare is popular. you know what isn't? calling anyone who doesn't encourage illegal immigration a "bigot". calling anyone who knows the difference between a man and a woman a "transphobe". scolding people about using plastic forks, and driving trucks. progressives simply cannot get out of their own way; they relegate themselves to dark blue areas only, because nobody likes them

80% of the country don't even know what a progressive is and you apart of that 80%.

and is this where where you give us some goofy Euro-definition of the political spectrum, that plays absolutely no part in american politics?

nobody gives a fukk about your fake "muh AOC would be a republican in norway" talking point :mjlol:
