This is intellectually dishonest. Similarities in surface-level language do not imply any shred of shared ideology or goals. Trying to collapse these two positions together is just the kind of bad-faith smear one would expect from someone who has repeated many of the same talking points he pushes about immigrants and other marginalized groups.
Tucker Carlson is a white ethno-nationalist. His entire worldview is built around protecting white demographic and cultural dominance. So when he attacks Zionism, he's not doing it from any moral or human-rights standpoint. He sees anything that disrupts the white-nationalist project as a threat to "Western civilization."
That has nothing in common with people who critique the ethno-religious nature of Zionism on human-rights grounds. Progressives oppose all forms of ethno-nationalism, including white nationalism, Hindu nationalism, and Jewish ethno-nationalism. Carlson supports one of those and opposes the others for racist reasons.

It doesn’t take a mother Theresa to understand that it’s foolish to judge the actions born in poverty when you were born in an ivory tower (America) and not assume you wouldn’t do the same if you were in their shoes.
There needs to be a way to allow the people here who want to work and live a better life a path to a legal existence here. Sure boot the criminals and the lazy fukks out but the people who want to realize the American dream should be here.
