The democratic party will still lose elections when they don't focus on the majority issues. Stop letting the loud minority dictate the message. It needs to focus on the American worker, protecting American jobs and providing access to Healthcare, education and a better quality of life

problem is even when they put all that shyt in their platform it falls on deaf ears. Also when are we going to accept that many voters say they care about these things but then vote against these things in mass. I don't know what method the dems need to do to blast their actual platform across all media spheres to make this narrative change. I just can't see where one candidate had a defined platform and the other said concepts and tariffs and that was considered the actual better message to the struggling American.

They don’t put it in their platform

It’s mentioned but there isn’t an actual plan to go with it that is simple for regular people to grasp.

Going back to Zohran, free buses, city owned grocery stores for cheap foods and rent freeze.

Just keep it simple and a provided service. Don’t put up shyt that people had to jump thru hurdles like they Sydney McLaughlin to maybe acquire. The current Dems like putting up the hurdles because they don’t really want to give out those things.

People on here make fun of these people, but Trump checks were easier to understand and obtain than the complex first time homeowner plan Kamala put up last year (nd that plan was goofy because home prices are sky high for a lot of people).

The democrats need an outsider to run who can change the branding of the party

I get that. But, then you take things like the ACA

there are people who are all fukk Obamacare blah blah blah and how they are covered by ACA. And then when pressed in an interview they discover the ACA is Obamacare and they are pikachu face. I don't know how simple Dems can message to overcome people that inherently refuse to vote for them or trust them see all of rural america. I don't know what Dems can do to message to farmers in Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, etc that could make them know they are likely a better option for them then captain Tariff himself.

Basically. And treat the general public like the idiots they’ve prove they are. 65+ million voted for Trump three times and millions more including some all stars on this board peddle soft apologia for him for free daily. It doesn’t even need to be an outsider just someone willing to shyt on the establishment enough to appease some of the most vocal and the rest will make the obvious better choice.

I hear what you saying, but what you wrote doesn’t really go against what I said.

How would you explain the ACA to someone in one sentence? Even tho people like it, it’s not an easy policy as “you will get money.”

Obama and that congress passed a payroll tax in 2010 that saved people money over the course of a year. Usually around $1,000 a year. The problem was instead of a lump sum, it was done in small increments through each paycheck. A $50 savings each paycheck ain't the same as getting $1,000 up front.

We’ve been over this over and over. Put Bernie and Trump on the ballot in bumblefukk USA running on “populism” and they’ll pick Trump every time. Why? Because he offers the hate and racism Bernie doesn’t. Every year we hear the same “80% of people agree on (insert progressive policy) in the polls” and then every year they vote for some MAGA cultist who is against that. They just did it again yesterday in Tennessee. 50+% still said nah, I’ll take the cult member please.

I default to the ACA because Obamacare is the boogeyman of Dem policies. That all of these voters know for sure they hate until they find out it's what they actually are on and actually known as the ACA.

My point is I don't really think there is any way the Dems can "dumb down" or "mass slogan" that will break through with the people who always say they care about the policies. If the Dems pivoted to dumb down slogans then the media would pivot to Dems are trying to belittle the voters by speaking to them with paint by number messaging.

Not to mention as others will point out nothing the Dems can message hits better in the rust belt than that good ol cism

We just saw Zohran do this in New York. I know it's NYC, but it can be done because it's a simple material improvement.

The Dem establishment do not ever offer that simple material improvement.

It’s not a marketing push, but a policy solution that’s easy to get.

I like Shapiro but I agree
Same because Shapiro's political ambitions are like an open secret.
what did she even say about Shapiro? that he didn't want to play number 2 to her, on a doomed ticket? who gives a fukk? :dead:

of COURSE he didn't. zero serious '28 contenders did. that's why they had to get that irrelevant bum from minnesota :mjlol:

meanwhile, Obama's only gonna throw that Centrist Voltron weight behind one of them going forward. and it's not kamala :banderas:
