It's crazy how I still don't trust Rho Khanna despite how many of his policy positions I agree with. I just can't get over the feeling that he's a grifter.
I wouldn't say grifer I think silicon ro is compromised, given the district he oversees it's probably expected. I think if you was to list the type of democrat you can hope for in thatb district he's probably the best case scenario

He is a grifter.

He was palling around with Matt Gaetz on Fox News a few years ago

Not caping for Biden's immigration policy, but the key obstruction to immigration reform is Congress. This was true when Bush (W) tried immigration reform, This was true when Marco Rubio pushed for immigration reform, and this was also true when the immigration bill was going to pass under Biden and Trump sabotaged it. Those were all stymied by Republicans.

Because it's not in their interest to actually fix the immigration system. It benefits them more to use the problems in the system as something to campaign on. Yes, border crossing have reduced greatly under Trump and he is choking off Asylum and the Refugee system (I would guess you think this is a good thing). But he is also reducing the number of immigration judges, (a lack thereof is one of the big reasons the system has been inefficient and slow). Most Americans would agree that the immigration system is a mess. But it needs to be fixed by the Congress, not from the executive branch.

yes i do. the post-covid affordability crisis is simply not the time to invite mass immigration. voters want Democrats to solve THEIR problems; not south america's, or the middle east's
