A Dem presidential candidate making themselves available to a conservative media platform that frequently amplifies extremist conservative ideology. Both platforms meet the criteria. Why are you trying so diligently to draw a distinction between the two?
I don't need to litigate Kamala's decisions, they're irrelevant in this conversation and mean nothing considering she lost and isn't the President.
One CAN NOT feel Gavin Newsome entertaining Shapiro's request to appear was unwise and yet, feel that Kamala Harris not entertaining Rogan's request was also unwise. Major audience overlap, same reasons for appearing. It's really simple.

Ben Shapiro is a conservative political show. He literally wants to debate everyone.
Harris had an issue connecting with (white) men and going on the show potentially would have helped.

Harris' issue connecting with (white) men is that she isn't one.
Going on Rogan wouldn't have changed that and all they would've done was ask her loaded questions so they could get some sound bites for Trump. I also disagree with Newsome going on Shapiro's show (and I've soured on him in general as a candidate), but the environment isn't as hostile for him as it would be for Kamala.
