Platner is a disaster. If he wins the primary and general, he's just going to be a Fetterman 2.0 and maybe even worse. It absolutely sucks that the only other option in the Dem primary is Janet Mills, who is old and a bit too centrist.
Also, I just don't trust Maine voters. Susan Collins somehow always wins (even in 2020 with Trump on the ballot).
