Ok I was a bit confused because you were touting Shapiro's electability on the basis that he's not some progressive who is confused or pandering about transgender issues, but he's actively in favor of trans rights and policies. So as long as you acknowledge that Shapiro - like the rest of the Democratic caucus - is not going to run on an anti-transgender platform then you'll have to remove that criticism from your anti-progressive electability screeds. Hell, even John Fetterman is still a pro-trans ally. If you think being in favor of the humanity of transgender people eliminates a politician from being serious or electable, then no Democrat is electable.
