More generally what was at front of mind was the kind of false dichotomy being set up where the leftwing of the party is "unreasonable and unmoving and too tied to their beliefs"and every other democrat is prepared to vote for the Democratic candidate no matter what. Seems likely that their are more self-identified democratic voters that chose not to vote for Kamala than self-identified leftists that chose not to vote for Kamala.

Does not make sense to me to interrogate the people that chose not vote for Kamala for specific reasons that she had the ability to do something about (it was her choice to tie herself so closely to biden and his policies) rather than the people that chose not to vote for her for no reason in particular.

Not voting for Kamala and voting for trump as a Democrat aren't the same to me.
