The reason we spend so much on healthcare isn't because of illegal immigrants. It's because our healthcare system is inefficient and too many people end up in the ER with preventable issues or because they don't have insurance and the ER (the most expensive form of healthcare) is their only option. Not to mention insurance companies eat up a lot of money. Having universal healthcare would save the country WAY more money than trying to round up immigrants (which actually costs money) and there are plenty of studies.

So lets not pretend the costs are your real issue here that said I know the idea that not every problem in the world is because of immigrants or some other minority group is probably too nuanced for you, so feel free to ramble about the "far left" if you want
