Bernie needs to modify his message to point out that the people on the bottom are not lazy leeches. Just saying billionaires should pay more does not attack the "bootstrap" crowd.
His point is that he's not a lunatic and being considered a socialist is ignorant boogie man talk.
He didn't really answer her question about Medicare though. It's a deep policy discussion that can't properly be vetted in this setting.

Ehh, I dont find much difference between socialist and Democratic socialist as he proclaims...Trotting out Scandinavian countries that are majority CAC with single cultures to promote his democratic socialist ideas in this country is disingenuous at best.
To date, I still have no idea why infrastructure bills are toxic. Wouldn't money we pay into the infrastructure just recycle through the system? Why get mad for a slight tax increase if you know it's going directly into local economies.
