i still can't believe this is the democratic party's official position

never asked the voters, never polled us, never allowed us to give any input. just decided on our behalf that total fealty to the transgenda is what the democrats stand for. and if you stand up for actual women who don't want mentally ill men in their spaces, or oppose giving puberty blocking drugs to underage children, you're a "transphobe"

Sure. A tall woman is a woman. A short woman is a woman. A black woman is a woman. An asian woman is a woman. A gay woman is a woman. A straight woman is a woman. A blonde woman is a woman. A brunette woman is a woman. A rich woman is a woman. A poor woman is a woman. A cisgender woman is a woman. A trans woman is a woman.

Because they are women. Just as a short woman is also a woman even though they're not tall women. Trans and Cis are subcategories of the broader category of woman. You are making the same uneducated mistake that conservatives make in confusing gender for sex.


What do you mean "if this is about gender", we're talking about transgender people. And yes, gender is a social construct that is largely performative. I'm assuming they didn't cover de Beauvoir in your Liberty University degree, but this is a pretty basic concept that has been universally accepted by people who think for a living.
