Democrats continue to ignore BM. Zohran doesn't mention them in his speech even though they voted for him in bigger #s than BW who he mentioned.

Nah, every other group gets glazed except black men. If you’re going to pander, pander to all of your voters. It’s also very noticeable because Dems always specifically highlight and identify black women but don’t make the gender distinction for other groups. And that’s with knowing that women are their most loyal voters in every racial demographic. I’m not saying that I care or wake up thinking about it - but a well read person would notice it in the moment. It also seems to piggyback off the notion that other groups (mostly non-black women) think that black women are the only group of black people they need to respect and can lump us in with other men to pretend their material conditions are anywhere near ours. But I guess you would have to be close to academia a lot to see it (which I have been). It’s annoying. Like I would have white liberal women telling my black inner city raised ass that I should check my privilege as a man when there’s next to no scenario in this country where I’m advantaged over them besides sports and a street fight. Ultimately, we have bigger fights and I voted for bro and I’m happy he won.

Call me crazy. But isn’t politics fundamentally about acknowledging your constituents? But maybe I’m sassy. 💅

I don't like gender warring and I neither need nor want another man to carry me.

But a lot of posters here are being dense. It would be one thing if he didn't shout out Black men but had Black men confidantes and operatives getting stuff done for us behind the scenes.

People don't understand politics is very choreographed. A bunch of people read and vetted that speech. It was meant to set a tone for the future but people are so traumatized by the false idea the no tangible no vote crowd got Trump elected they will ignore any hints until it gets in your face...and then it is too late.

THE GASLIGHTING OF BLACK MEN IN THIS THREAD IS A SIGHT TO BEHOLD :wow:

This mf'er shouted out TRANNIES but could fix his lips together to mention Black males.

You mean to tell me there are statistically more fags then Black male voters or constituents in the city of New York...is that what I am to believe?

Y'all got it I don't even feel like engaging with the bs tonight :pachaha:
You’re gay if you want to be acknowledged and recognized politically for your contributions :snoop:

These nikkas is sick and past saving, “I’m the father that stepped up” ass nikkas :dead:

Shes a 26 year old running for Congress for a seat that was held by an 80 year old Jan Schakowsky for 25 years. Shes running a campaign strictly off small dollar donations and uses it all for campaign charity drives and paying her staff. She was recently indicted by the DOJ for protesting outside the Broadview Ice facility round these parts. Went to her first campaign event and have been following her ever sense.

She got gassed and tossed by ICE on camera.

I think he should have mentioned us brothas in that moment. It was a missed opportunity.

But Trump has specifically put 300,000 Black women out of a job within a couple months of his administration. And he sicced paramilitary, federal stormtroopers in our communities to intimidate and harass us

Not sure why you would reach for a minor slight with a Mamdani speech when Trump has waged a racist war against Black families

This.

Not to mention, literally when black women are doing well black HOUSEHOLDS do well. Because well...black women almost always end up with black men. Contrary to what the Coli tells you.

This the Kamala aint black crowd
If it is - then I want to disassociate. I’m not on that or tripping on this but I do see it as an opportunity to highlight something. I’m speaking strictly on Democratic messaging and black men. Like I’m saying this as someone who literally knew black male directors of different offices or strategy for the Harris campaign and they had nothing for brothers explicitly at all but had it for every other demographic. I’m saying those brothers told me. Anyone pretending that it’s not a real thing is being disingenuous and I’m left as fukk.

You’re assuming the average person is me or you - they’re not. The better question is, why are you comfortable with every other demographic being highlighted and specifically catered to in politics except black men? And why is it okay that there is very little direct literature on black men, from black men in academia? I say that because I think all of this stuff is a gateway. You get ideas from who you’re closest to and most democratic politicians aren’t hearing from brothers at all nor do they cater to us in any way. Retail politics is the way of the country - you can act above it but that’s just what it is. “Suburban moms” “middle America” “Latino voters” “white working class.” All of American politics is about identifying your potential or likely voters and then turning them out to vote.

Even Obama trafficked in that paternalistic to black men in 2024 and was basically told to shut up. (Including by the 80 plus percent of black men who voted Harris.). I don’t think this is the proper thread but the fact that so many brothers are indifferent to democrats or don’t feel seen is very real. shyt I was in Vegas and saw Latino men there be like - these people ain’t like us. Everyone in Democratic politics is worried about the male problem all the way down to Gen Z where it’s most prominent. Let’s not be flippant and “cool” in here. I don’t know these guys intentions because I’m not a TLR poster but it is a legitimate outreach concern. And I assure you that Zohran is savvy enough to know it because thankfully he is a better politician than most people in here.

ITT: bytch nikkas getting upset because black men are expecting to be acknowledged for our efforts and contributions for a change.

Keep this same “you ain’t owed shyt” energy next election time. When we keep that same energy and don’t vote for who we’re “supposed” to vote for, remember that no one is owed anything.

Ya’ll are the type of spineless pussies to put up with poor customer service and a piss poor attitude at a restaurant and not say shyt because of “how it would look”, despite the fact you’re still paying them.

Every day I get more and more disgusted at myself posting on a site filled with sissy ass nikkas, that “Poster of the Year” title is starting to embarrass me. :scust:

In every census what I found is that black men vote more than Hispanic and Asian men.

“Black men vote lower than other demographics” is a sensationalized headline that the poster ran with and just claimed “pew research”

@blackestofpanthers you see this nonsense?
It’s a Gotdamn excuse they use to undermine the black male vote.

He mentioned 4 niche groups, there’s about 1000 niche groups.

He didn’t mention black women who haven’t lost their federal job which is 99% of black women :unimpressed:

These Twitter reactors always say either 1. Stop pandering. 2. Why are they not pandering :mjlol:

Remember how much these cry babies were shytting on Biden, Kamala and on for hanging with black people, talking about black people etc. “Bla bla black pandering”

Breh I literally just had a convo with a dude about this in the barber shop. He was basically confessing that he voted for Trump because he thought he was going to do something about child support.... :what:. His literal job that he was working at is shutting down in December due to lost subsidies and tariffs which finally woke him up...smh
The fact that people thought this dude was going to help them in life in anyway :mjlol:

But I guess that’s a better reason than c00ns like 50 saying “he’s been to jail” or that “he’s funny”.

Acknowledging black male voters is that tough? You’re acting like Mamdani will melt like the wicked witch if he utters “black” and “men” in the same sentence. I think this shyt is all goofy. Especially considering they have no problem singling out black men, when things go awry.
Him mentioning black men might’ve put a target on his back:mjlol:

We are the most hated/envied group on earth apparently :francis:
