Democrats continue to ignore BM. Zohran doesn't mention them in his speech even though they voted for him in bigger #s than BW who he mentioned.

They feel the need to glaze Black women at every turn because Black women are very vocal complainers and have a huge collective ego wrt voting and the Democratic party. They like to think of themselves as the life force of the party. Black men just quietly vote in a way that makes sense to us every election. But because we're quiet about it, we don't receive this type of treatment ever, regardless of how much we vote for the Dems, like here.

The Truth
People can state the truth and not expect anything to be different.

Most of us are saying we know. I personally don’t care because he is a black man too (I guess) and his win serves an overall purpose.

So it is what it is. If “statistics” say BM do not vote as much then I’m not surprised, usually BM don’t get shyt worthy in return that’s specifically for them. I too was once one of those BM.

Last year and from here on out though, that shouldn’t be the case though.

Dude isn’t my mayor and I didn’t vote for him but support the win. Change the CS laws and make DNA testing at birth mandatory, and maybe you will see support from men in general.

But we know we are the lowest of the totem pole in certain things, even though everyone wants to be a nikka

Reality is Black men are irrelevant on a national scale (and really any level you look at it) because we don't work as a group and allow c00ns to promote an image of us as retarded thugs and make propaganda to convince others we're idiots.

Even with all their issues, Black women can collectively work together or at least largely look like they are.

Plus, y'all don't really understand group dynamics or human dynamics really if you're still surprised by other males not lifting you up. It's actually really fakkity and weak, but most Black men doing really operate like men :yeshrug:

Some of y'all gonna learn that in this world, so-called America, thanking and giving gratitude to Black people, but especially Black men will and has always been controversial; that's why you don't ever expect any flowers, nor let it affect you, mentally speaking.

Why is it controversial? Because giving us thanks or showing any form of gratitude towards us would mean to humanize us, which makes some people uncomfortable 'cause it goes against what they're thinking in the back of their mind, which is often times negative preconceived perceptions of Black men, people have their opinions of us which they stick by them so anything a Black man does that goes against their preassumptions is going to be an awkward moment.

Personally, I don't let shyt like that bother me, I'm not yearning to be accepted, if anything I'd prefer you not to patronize me, especially if I know it's not coming from a place of sincerity. With that, I don't live in NYC, but if I were bruhs from NY, I wouldn't let that take away from this guy winning and becoming the mayor of NYC. Overall, his brand of politics will likely be beneficial for Black men and generally speaking, Black New Yorkers than what Eric Adams unfortunately wasn't.

Not really, it's to gas Black women up and make them think they're above us.

There's a reason why it's always only one group of people split up by gender with the females always being told they're so amazing, but also eternal victims.

This is why the billionaires were pumping money against him and why Corporate dems with handlers either didn't speak on him or spoke against him. There are a lot of good Dems BUT the last thing big money wants is young, energetic and relatable Dems who actually speak on delivering that requires taking off a rich persons plate. There are TONS of them coming up and all they really need is a blueprint.

Mamdani is in a position to model a campaign and an administration thats a model for young progressives. He has Lina fukking Khan on his transition team. I'm watching dude for when it's my time to rock and Kat Abughazaleh here in Chicago.

Be careful. All those billionaires and millionaires speaking against whim as well as the Israeli gang gang and these other politicians like the ones in the DNC ranks might be doing some fake beef with Mamdani while working with him behind the scenes to do their agendas. Dude is a October Libra. Watch his ass because its likely he's gonna pull the trick bag out. Copmala, Newsome-both Libras.

It's hilarious how you guys flip narratives to defend your agenda. I thought shyt was supposed to be about tangibles, not identity politics right? So he wins on a platform of tangibles focused on making life affordable for regular NYers and 24 hours later the immediate focus here is on who is getting shout outs and not getting shout outs in a victory speech?

Yeah, fukking cocksuckers will be the first one to throw BM under the bus every time too. Chastised for not voting enough for mfs that don't do shyt for us and ignored even when we do on some damage control/harm mitigation shyt.
i would say its wild that people dont se this, but it might just be selective at this point

nikkas must’ve grew up without a father. This the kinda shyt women do. “NOTICE ME! PRAISE ME!” Gay
Nah, every other group gets glazed except black men. If you’re going to pander, pander to all of your voters. It’s also very noticeable because Dems always specifically highlight and identify black women but don’t make the gender distinction for other groups. And that’s with knowing that women are their most loyal voters in every racial demographic. I’m not saying that I care or wake up thinking about it - but a well read person would notice it in the moment. It also seems to piggyback off the notion that other groups (mostly non-black women) think that black women are the only group of black people they need to respect and can lump us in with other men to pretend their material conditions are anywhere near ours. But I guess you would have to be close to academia a lot to see it (which I have been). It’s annoying. Like I would have white liberal women telling my black inner city raised ass that I should check my privilege as a man when there’s next to no scenario in this country where I’m advantaged over them besides sports and a street fight. Ultimately, we have bigger fights and I voted for bro and I’m happy he won.
