Democrats continue to ignore BM. Zohran doesn't mention them in his speech even though they voted for him in bigger #s than BW who he mentioned.

Feel like when Dems try to appeal to cats they call it pandering then when they don't folks feel ignored.

I'm not a dnc shill, I'm a bothsider but that's not fair. The democrats held a "black men summit" on bet and nikkas was trashing it.

nikkas gotta decide.

*repost from dapcity*
Both things can be true. The whole point of pandering is to not offer actual political action. It’s dishonest and manipulative. This is why when politicians come to black people they start literally singing and dancing and talk about everything except policy.

As a black American man you’re either going to be ignored or pandered to, that’s the benign neglect policy that has been in place since Nixon and has been co-opted by democrats.

@that guy @DonB90 @Ish Gibor @Yzak @Problematic Pat

Ain’t all yall on some both Siders, MAGA or FBA shyt?
No, and I have no stake in this. I look at this objectively.

I don't like this guy one bit.

People who identify as FBA are not wrong for identifying as such, because this is their history...

"This history had started with the arrival of a black man. In June 1613, Juan Rodrigues, a free sailor from Hispaniola (in what is today the Dominican Republic) who worked for a Dutch fur trading company, was left on Manhattan Island to trade with Native Americans. He was the first non-indigenous permanent resident of Manhattan and remained the only one until 1621 when the Dutch West India Company (WIC) built a settlement and began introducing African labor."

The Maerschalck map of the City of New York is a historic map made in 1754 that clearly shows the African Burial Ground and its surrounding neighborhood

It's hilarious how you guys flip narratives to defend your agenda. I thought shyt was supposed to be about tangibles, not identity politics right? So he wins on a platform of tangibles focused on making life affordable for regular NYers and 24 hours later the immediate focus here is on who is getting shout outs and not getting shout outs in a victory speech?
You’re contradicting yourself and there is no narrative flip. If people are waiting for tangibles but he comes out the gate with identity politic language shouldn’t they have the right to question his intentions going forward?

Do you have a problem with FBA? :mjpls:
All the foreigners have an issue with us acknowledging our ethnicity because that leads to group thinking and group economics. Oh look at who most of these immigrants get their business from :jbhmm:

Wonder what happens if those people stop letting their money flow out :patrice:

“Second. The time may have come when the is sue of race could benefit from a period of " benign neglect. 11 The subject has been too much talked about. The forum has been too much taken over to hysterics, paranoids, and boodlers on all sides. We may need a period in which Negro progress continues and racial rhetoric fades. The administration can help bring this about by paying close attention to such progress - - as we are doing - - while seeking to avoid situations in which extremists of either race are given opportunities for martyrdom, heroics, histrionics or whatever. Greater attention to Indians, Mexican Americans and Puerto Ricans would be useful. A tendency to ignore provocations from groups such as the Black Panthers might also be useful.”

(Daniel P. Moynihan to President Nixon, January 16, 1970)

There are no identity politics. He announced a transition team full of qualified, talented women including Linda Khan who are advising on how he will address tangible policy issues. If this was all men, or all black people, nobody here would view it as identity politics.

Motherfukkers want to be babygirl’d so bad :mjlol: . Are y’all men?

Doesn’t even make sense to turn this into a Democratic Party critic. None of the big names were willing to endorse him, they were lowkey hoping that clown Cuomo pulled through
Join date of 2022. DNC'll guarantee you get paid to run interference against Black Americans, but won't spend a penny to get our Reparations.

This is their avenue of attack now. Spent years on "The Black Patriarchy," to move on to "nikkas is sassy."

Is it Oochie Wally or One Mic, you shill fakkits?
