Democrats are stuck on dumb ass identity polictics which only appeal to a sliver of the voting population and repels the majority. I'm a black man from the southside of chicago, but all this sjw feminists and gay lives matter make me want to be the most cold hearted conservative.

Uncertain grounds
Democrats could make a dent if they bring up their aspect of caring for others..safety nets..etc to evangelicals while pushing that republicans are selfish and only look out for profit but they rarely play that angle

Whites will think negatively of us regardless, doesn't mean we have to run to the Democrats like we've done since the 60s. The Democrats have done nothing for us but give us nikka trinkets.
That's not the point though. You're upset that the dems deal with identity politics. As a black man, you are the identity politic rhetoric that white evangelicals hate having to talk about. How is it that you don't understand that?

Identity politics is not just gender and homosexual social standing.

This is a disgusting article in my opinion.

I will never appeal to a white evangelical voter, because I deal with a world view based on facts.

Racism won't be prayed away and climate change exists. That's the starting point of the conversation. We don't need to discuss anything else if you don't understand that.

And our identity is currently NOT part of the Democratic identity agenda.

We are considered by many of them to be the prime examples of "toxic masculinity"
or of the excesses of the "oppressive hetero-patriarchy."

In their eyes, we are all Nate Parker and Bill Cosby, just waiting to pounce (while Bill Clinton
and Anthony Weiner are given a pass).

That's how you choose to see it.
