But the big gripe probably should be that we're spending 738B for the military and it's not because we added a space force under the air force.

But the air force had already budgeted for space related work. It's not really that big of a deal as the outrage over it considering almost all the money is air force money being allocated for the space force.

I think they asked for an additional 5.6bn over 3 years or something like that.

I get where you’re coming from but this is so unfair.

They should be their own executive department with a trillion dollar budget if not more. I mean can you even put a dollar amount on the cost of outer space?

hopefully cooler heads will prevail and they’ll scrap this silly family thing and whatever that does until they give Space Force agency in every sense of the word.
