The 2020 Democrat has come out against the “defund the police” platform, as have politicians far to his left like Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) and prominent black leaders like NAACP President Derrick Johnson.

As someone who has been out protesting for the past two weeks, it's clear you haven't. And you clearly aren't aware of the scope of what black men and women are asking from the federal government.

The initial pounh remains, as pointed out in the article, that the asks from these leftist groups aren't popular.

It's easy to sat someone isn't doing enough when your asks aren't realistic.

Federally people want to the government to stop selling military equipment to the police, perform better oversight over law enforcement agencies, the dissolution of the qualified immunity, and the willingness of the federal government to step in where local and state governments fail.

At the end of the day, most of what people want from their police departments have to be carried out first at the local level.

Your desire to want to come across as someone whose value because you are willing to criticize the establishment has turned you into someone wholly lacking in substance.

Get off the internet. Go do work in your community on these issues.
